This 1987 ranch on the north side of Georgetown had a crawl space that smelled musty every spring and fed humidity straight into the floor system. The fiberglass batts between joists were sagging, blackened in spots, and doing nothing. We removed the old material, graded the dirt floor, laid a 12-mil reinforced vapor barrier with sealed seams, closed the vent openings with rigid foam, and installed a dedicated dehumidifier set to 55% relative humidity. Spray Foam Insulation in a Georgetown New Build

Radiant Barrier Installation in Georgetown’s East Side
This east-side Georgetown home had a dark shingle roof and ductwork running through the attic - a combination that made the second floor unbearable by mid-afternoon every July. Attic temperature hit 147°F. The existing R-30 insulation was doing its job against conductive heat, but radiant gain from the roof deck was overwhelming the system. We installed OSB radiant barrier sheathing on the roof deck, which reflects radiant heat rather than absorbing it. Attic temperature at the same time of day, same month, dropped to 108°F.
